Raising Quality! is a quality rating improvement system for early care and education programs in San Joaquin County. Funded by quality initiatives and organized by First 5 San Joaquin, Raising Quality! helps improve child care in our community by:
The program is voluntary and open to licensed child care programs, public or private, serving children ages 0-5 who are from low-income families, non-English speakers, and/or have special needs. Raising Quality! provides many opportunities for programs to develop, including cash awards for quality improvement activities, training and technical assistance, and scholarships for Early Childhood Education coursework.
If you are a Family Child Care Provider, please contact Family Resource & Referral Center (209) 461-2951and ask for the Raising Quality! program.
If you are a center based program and don't receive state or federal funding, please join the Information Session, Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 1:00-3:00PM. Please see the flyer for more information.

All Raising Quality! participants are able to display the Raising Quality! seal, which demonstrates their commitment to providing quality services. Ask your child care provider if he or she is participating in Raising Quality!, or look for the Raising Quality! seal.
